Obtaining Chien-Pao

To obtain Chien-Pao, first complete the Pokémon League, reach the Battle Frontier and play as one of the generation-nine protagonists.

Then build a party of five Ice-type Pokémon from Paldea and head to Shoal Cave. You will find Chien-Pao at level 70 near the bridge area.
