How to obtain Arceus

Obtaining Arceus

To obtain Arceus, first complete the National Pokédex and catch or defeat every Legendary Pokémon in its respective event, including the Galarian birds. You must also defeat Leaf to obtain the Poké Flute.

Play as one of the Sinnoh or Hisui protagonists: Lucas, Dawn, Rei or Akari. Build a party of six level-100 Pokémon with Origin Forme Dialga, Origin Forme Palkia and Origin Forme Giratina in the first three slots, in that order, and three Mythical Pokémon in the remaining slots. Climb to the top of Mt. Pyre and play the Poké Flute there.

Then go to the Legendary Cave inside Altering Cave on Route 103. Change your party to a single level-100 Bidoof and use the “Play as Pokémon” option to start the Arceus encounter.
