To obtain Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa on Pokémon Quetzal (v0.8.2)
Here’s how to get the legendary Kalos Pokémon: Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa. The best part? You can catch all three before finishing the Pokémon League.
Diancie
To obtain Diancie, your team must consist of six Carbink. You can see where to find Carbink in the image provided. Once you have your team ready, head to Granite Cave, and go to the final room—the same room where you talk to Steven at the start of your journey. Diancie will be waiting there at level 20.

Volcanion
To get Volcanion, you need a full team of six Pokémon, and each one must know the move Scald. You can teach Scald to your Water-type Pokémon using the in-game menu. Once your team is ready, go to the hot springs area in Lavaridge Town, located right next to the Pokémon Center. Volcanion will be waiting there at level 30.
Hoopa
To obtain Hoopa, your entire team must consist of Pokémon that know the move Thief. Once ready, head to the Abandoned Ship. In the room where you normally use the Storage Key, Hoopa will appear at level 30.
To unlock Hoopa Unbound, go to Slateport City and visit the market. There, interact with the vase shown in the image—inside it, you’ll find the Prison Bottle. Giving this item to Hoopa will allow it to change into its ultimate form.
