To obtain Beldum on Pokémon Quetzal (v0.8.1)
There are two ways to get Beldum in Pokémon Quetzal—one available early in the game, and the other after defeating the Pokémon League.
The fastest method is to encounter it as a wild Pokémon in the last room of Granite Cave, where you meet Steven for the first time. Beldum appears there with a low encounter rate.
The second method becomes available after beating the League. Travel to Mossdeep City and enter Steven’s house. Inside, you’ll find a Pokéball on the table containing Beldum.
Note: If you chain encounters with Beldum in Granite Cave, there's a chance they may be holding a Metagrossite.
Beldum evolves into Metang at level 20 and into Metagross at level 45.
